A crimper designed for Molex pins must be used to connect pin to wire. Many crimp/pin sizes are available. Therefore, you must chose not only the right pin for the job but also the correct size of dies for the crimp tool. Some tools have dies that can be changed to suit the crimp. Others, such as the one in the picture, have fixed dies. Some of these tools are like a pair of modified pliers while others are a little more complex.

Now move the crimp to A and crimp the wire once again. This completes the connection. An example of a Molex pin properly crimped to a wire is shown in Figure 2-31.
