We have gifts of the Spirit, our natural talents, and the fruits of the Spirit to aid us in our quests. But just like superheroes, we must choose whether we will use these gifts and abilities to do good deeds or whether we will allow them to go unused. In Fantastic Four #1 (November 1961), once Reed, Sue, Ben, and Johnny overcame their shock at gaining their powers, they immediately committed themselves to using those powers to help humankind.
